The Newton EJ Compact Balance is lightweight and portable. It is powered by an AC adapter 120V/60Hz (included) or by four standard AA batteries (purchased separately). Newton Balances comes programed with 7 weighing units (g, oz, lb (Except EJ-123), ozt, ct, dwt, GN). Portable operation is rated at up to 70 hours. The easy to read LCD display has backlight and fast 1 second response time. Weighing pan size is 4.3in (110mm) diameter for EJ-120 to EJ-610 models and 5x5.5in (127mmx140mm) for EJ-1500 and up.
Newton Balances with 1,500g or more capacity have an optional Underhook attachment available to facilitate specific gravity and density determinations. Software functionality for specific gravity determinations is built-in. A sturdy, fitted carrying case is also available as an option (except for the EJ-123). Est. Ship Wt.: 3lb (1.3kg).
